Ways to Give
The Center for Industry Self-Regulation’s goal is to advance the understanding of industry’s role in protecting consumers by setting and upholding standards and ensuring transparency and accountability. These self-regulatory efforts work in place of, or in conjunction with, government regulation.
How will my donation be used?
Your gift will be used to advance CISR’s comprehensive strategies and educational initiatives to protect consumers and promote transparency and accountability. We will provide you with a written gift acknowledgment that will serve as your receipt for tax purposes.
CISR is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization funded by the generosity of individual donors, charitable foundations, and businesses. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. By giving to CISR, you acknowledge that no goods or services were received in exchange for your contribution. Donor Advised Funds*
As one of the most tax-advantageous ways to give, donor-advised funds are the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicle in the United States. To make a gift to CISR through your Donor Advised Fund, please contact your Fund manager. -
Employer Matching Donations
As an incentive to give to charitable organizations, many companies offer a matching gift program to their employees. Some extend gift matching programs to gifts from employees' spouses and retirees. To learn whether your charitable gift is eligible for an employee match, contact your employee benefits officer.
